Cancelling recognition to WB police unions unconstitutional:HC

 The Calcutta High Court today
declared as unconstitutional the West Bengal government's
decision to withdraw recognition to police associations in the
state.
Justice Dipankar Gupta directed that the decision was
in violation of constitutional provisions and against natural
justice.
The West Bengal government had in 2011, after the new
Trinamool Congress dispensation took charge, cancelled
recognition of three police associations stating that it
wanted to keep the police force free of any political bias.
The associations -- West Bengal Non-gazetted Police
Karmachari Association, West Bengal Police Association and
Calcutta Police Association had moved the high court
challenging the government's decision.
Counsel Bikash Bhattacharya, appearing for the
Karmachari Association, had submitted during the hearings that
these are not like other trade unions and had no political
affiliation.
Formed decades ago and recognised by the government,
these associations mainly looked after the welfare of
policemen and women, Bhattacharya submitted.
He claimed that the decision to cancel recognition
was arbitrary and unconstitutional.
Hearing in the matter was concluded earlier.

Ajay's Son Of Sardar grosses Rs 100 crore at desi Box Office

Hindi movie Son Of Sardar starring Ajay Devgn, Sanjay Dutt and Sonakshi Sinha in leads, has been doing better collection than its rival Shahrukh Khan's Jab Tak Hai Jaan in the second week. The remake of Telugu movie Maryada Ramanna has crossed Rs 100 crore mark at the Box Office in India in 15 days.
Son Of Sardar collected Rs 83.25 crores nett at the domestic Box Office in the 10-day-extended first week and it continued to keep the bells ringing at the desi collection centres in the second week. Although it saw a drop of 50% in its business in the second weekend, it still looked better when compared to Jab Tak Hai Jaan, which was leading the race in the first week.
Son Of Sardar collected Rs 11.8 crores at the domestic Box Office in the second weekend, taking its 13-day total to Rs 95.05 crores nett. Its collection further dropped on the second Monday and Tuesday. It added another Rs 5 crores to its 15-day total collection Rs 100.05 crores nett. Its breakup is Rs 3.05 cr on Fri, Rs 3.80 cr on Sat, Rs 4.95 cr on Sun, Rs 2.65 cr on Mon and Rs 2.35 cr on Tue.

Jab Tak Hai Jaan has continued to top the business chart at the USA Box Office in the second weekend. The Shahrukh-Katrina-Anushka starrer has collected $ 5,36,918 from 164 screens in the country taking its 13-day total to Rs 16.93 crores ($ 30,47,539). Whereas Son Of Sardar has once again landed in the second spot. The film has collected $ 1,13,592 from 109 screens taking its total to Rs 3.96 crores ($ 7,13,754).
Jab Tak Hai Jaan has topped the chart at the UK Box Office with its second weekend collection £ 1,97,745 from 65 screens. Its 13-day total is Rs 11.61 crores (£ 13,01,655). Whereas Son Of Sardar has collected £ 33,828 from 24 screens, taking its total to Rs 2.73 crores (£ 3,06,468).
Jab Tak Hai Jaan has continued to dominate the Australia Box Office in its second weekend. The film has collected A$ 88,087 from 24 screens taking its total to Rs 3.76 crores (A$ 6,46,585). Another movie Son Of Sardar is in the second place with its second weekend collection A$ 20,967 from 30 screens. Its 13-day total is Rs 1.67 crores (A$ 2,87,174).
Jab Tak Hai Jaan has topped the chart at the New Zealand Box Office in the second weekend. It has collected NZ$ 26,955 from 14 screens, taking its total to Rs 83.77 lakhs (NZ$ 1,82,744). Whereas Son Of Sardar has collected NZ$ 7,052 from 9 screens in the second weekend, taking its total to Rs 40.42 lakhs (NZ$ 88,168).

OBC category reaches 17 per cent in West Bengal-Mamata

 West Bengal Chief Minister
Mamata Banerjee today announced inclusion of the 'Sheikh'
community in reservation for Muslims in the OBC category,
taking it to 17 per cent and claimed that her government had
completed all commitments given to minorities in 16 months.
The 'Sheikhs', who comprised about 20 lakh among the
10 crore population in the state, were now included in the
OBC, Banerjee said.
The chief minister claimed that her government had
completed in 16 months all commitments for minorities given
for five years.
"I have completed all my commitments to minorities for
five years within 16 months and now I have to think afresh for
the remaining part of my tenure," she told at a function.
Stating that her government has given Urdu the status
of second language in blocks comprising over 10 per cent Urdu
speaking population, Banerjee said that similar steps had also
been taken for Hindi, Gurmukhi, Oriya, Nepali and Santhali.
"The budgetary allocation for the Minority Affairs
department for the current year is likely to touch nearly Rs
1,000 crore from Rs 680 crore," she said.
Minority students would be trained to compete for IAS,
IPS, WBCS, WBPS and other competitive examinations under UPSC
and state PSC for social uplift, she said.
Completion of the Alliah University in the state at
a cost of Rs 350 crore would help the minorities in the state,
Banerjee said.
Outlining a list of schemes for minorities, Banerjee
hoped that they would soon attain self-reliance.
The chief minister said that the CBI would investigate
14 cases of scams in Wakf properties during the tenure of the
previous Left Front government and the remaining by the CID.
The chief minister gave away loans, scholarships and
other benefits to minority students under different schemes of
Minority Affairs and Madrasah Education department and WBMDFC.
She gave about Rs 12 lakh in cheques to 18,051
beneficiaries.
Beneficiary entrepreneurs, members of Self Help
Groups, students from primary to masters level, professional
and vocational courses and representatives of various schools
and colleges from several parts of the state attended the
programme.
The chief minister also called for amity and harmony
during the ensuing Durga puja and Eid festivals in the state.

 ਮੁੱਖ ਮੰਤਰੀ ਮਮਤਾ ਬੈਨਰਜੀ ਨੇ ਐਲਾਨ ਕੀਤਾ ਹੈ ਕਿ ਯੁਪੀਏ ਸਰਕਾਰ ਚ ਦੂਜੀ ਸਭਤੋ ਵੱਡੀ ਪਾਰਟੀ ਤ੍ਰਿਣਮੂਲ ਕਾਂਗਰਸ ਹੁਣ ਕੇਂਦਰ ਸਰਕਾਰ ਦਾ ਹਿੱਸਾ ਨਹੀਂ ਹੈ।ਅੱਜ ਸ਼ਾਮ ਕੋਲਕਾਤਾ ਦੇ ਟਾਊਨਹਾਲ ਵਿਖੇ ਪਾਰਟੀ ਦੀ ਸੰਸਦੀ ਕਮੇਟੀ ਦੇ ਮੈਂਬਰਾਂ  ਦੀ ਤਕਰੀਬਨ ਤਿੰਨ ਘੰਟੇ ਚਲੀ ਮੀਟਿੰਗ ਤੋਂ ਬਾਦ ਉਨਾਂ ਐਲਾਨ ਕੀਤਾ ਕਿ ਸਾਡੇ ਸਾਰੇ ਮੰਤਰੀ ਸੁਕਰਵਾਰ ਨੂੰ ਦਿਲੀ ਜਾ ਕੇ ਪ੍ਰਧਾਨਮੰਤਰੀ  ਡਾਕਟਰ ਮਨਮੋਹਨ ਸਿੰਘ ਨੂੰ ਅਸਤੀਫਾ ਦੇਣਗੇ।
ਮੁੱਖ ਮੰਤਰੀ ਮਮਤਾ ਬੈਨਰਜੀ ਨੇ ਕਿਹਾ ਕਿ ਅਸੀਂ ਸਰਕਾਰ ਚ ਰਹਿਣਾ ਚਾਹੁੰਦੇ ਸੀ ਇਸਲਈ ਕੇਂਦਰ ਸਰਕਾਰ ਨੂੰ ਤਿੰਨ-ਚਾਰ ਦਿਨ ਪਹਿਲਾਂ ਸਮਾਂ ਦਿਤਾ ਸੀ ਕਿ ਡੀਜਲ ਦੀਆਂ ਕੀਮਤਾਂ ਚ ਵਾਧਾ ਵਾਪਸ ਲੈਣ, ਰਸੋਈ ਗੈਸ ਬਾਰੇਫੈਸਲਾ ਬਦਲਣ ਅਤੇ ਐਫਡੀਆਈ ਬਾਰੇ ਫੈਸਲਾ ਰੱਦ ਕਰਨ ਲਈ ਪਹਿਲ ਕਰਨ, ਪਰ ਕੇਂਦਰ ਸਰਕਾਰ ਨੇ ਇਹੋ ਜਿਹਾ ਕੁਛ ਨਹੀਂ ਕੀਤਾ। ਕੋਲਾ ਘੁਟਾਲੇ ਤੋਂ ਲੋਕਾਂ ਦਾ ਧਿਆਨ ਹਟਾਉਣ ਲਈ ਕੇਂਦਰ ਨੇ ਇਹ ਫੈਸਲਾ ਕੀਤਾ ਹੈ। ਉਹ ਨਹੀਂ ਚਾਹੁੰੇਦੇ ਸੀ ਕਿ ਅਸੀਂਕੇਂਦਰ ਸਰਕਾਰ ਚ ਰਹੀਏ ਕਿਉਂਕਿ ਸਾਡੇ ਹੁੰਦੇ ਉਨਾਂ ਦੀ ਬਲੈਕਮੇਲਿੰਗ ਨਹੀਂ ਚਲਦੀ।
ਮਮਤਾ ਨੇ ਕਿਹਾ ਕਿ ਕਾਂਗਰਸ ਦੀ ਆਦਤ ਬਲੈਕਮੇਲ ਕਰਨ ਦੀ ਹੈ। ਮਮਤਾ ਨਹੀਂ ਤਾ ਮਾਯਾਵਤੀ ਨੂੰ ਮਨਾ ਲਉ, ਮਾਆਵਚੀ ਨਹੀਂ ਤਾਂ ਮੁਲਾਇਮ ਹੈ। ਡੀਐਮਕੇ ਨਹੀਂ ਤਾਂ ਏਆਈਡੀਐਕੇ, ਲਾਲੂ ਨਹੀਂ ਤਾਂ ਨੀਤੀਸ਼ ਕੁਮਾਰ ਪਰ ਅਸੀਂ ਇਹੋ ਜਿਹੇ ਨਹੀਂ ਹਾਂ। ਤ੍ਰਿਣਮੂਲ ਕਾਂਗਰਸ ਹੀ ਦੇਸ਼ ਦੀ ਇਕੋ ਇਕ ਇਹੋ ਜਿਹੀ ਪਾਰਟੀ ਹੈ, ਜਿਹੜੀ ਲੋਕਾਂ ਬਾਰੇ ਸੋਚਦੀਹੈ ਅਤ ਲੋਕਾਂ ਬਾਰੇ ਕੰਮ   ਕਰਦੀ ਹੈ।

ਸਮਾਜਵਾਦੀ ਪਾਰਟੀ ਦੇ ਮੁਖੀ ਮੁਲਾਇਮ ਸਿੰਘ ਯਾਦਵ ਨੇ ਅੱਜ ਕੋਲਕਾਤਾ ਵਿਖੇ ਐਲਾਨ ਕੀਤਾ ਕਿ 2014 ਚ ਹੋਣ ਵਾਲੇ ਲੋਕਸਭਾ ਚੋਣ ਨਤੀਜਿਆਂ ਚ ਸਮਾਜਵਾਦੀ ਪਾਰਟੀ ਦਾ ਦਬਦਬਾ ਹੋਵੇਗਾ ਅਤੇ ਪੰਜਾਬ ਤੋਂ ਲੈ ਕੇ ਬੰਗਾਲ ਤਕ ਉਨਾਂ ਦੀ ਚਲੇਗੀ। ਇਥੇ  ਨਲਬਨ ਵਿਖੇ ਰਾਸਟਰੀ ਐਗਜੀਕਿਉਟਿਵ ਦੀ ਦੋ ਰੋਜਾ ਕਾਰਜ ਸੰਮਤੀ ਦਾ ਉਦਘਾਟਨ ਕਰਦਿਆਂ ਉਨਾਂ   ਕਾਂਗਰਸ ਤੇ ਹੱਲਾ ਬੋਲਦਿਆਂ ਕਿਹਾ ਕਿ ਉਹ ਸਿਰ ਤੋਂ ਲੈ ਕੇ ਪੈਰ ਤਕ ਭ੍ਰਿਸਟਾਚਾਰ ਚ ਡੁੱਬੀ ਹੋਈ ਹੈ ਅਤੇ ਭਾਰਤੀ ਜਨਤਾ ਪਾਰਟੀ ਦੀ ਹਾਲਤ ਖਰਾਬ ਹੈ। ਇਹੋ ਜਿਹੀ ਹਾਲਤ ਚ ਸਾਡੀ ਜਿੰਮੇਵਾਰੀ ਵਧ ਗਈ ਹੈ। ਕੋਲਕਾਤਾ ਚ ਦੋ ਰੋਜਾ ਸੰਮੇਲਨ ਚ ਭਾਵੇਂ ਖੱਬੇ ਪੱਖੀ ਅਤੇ ਤ੍ਰਿਣਾਮੂਲ ਕਾਂਗਰਸ ਦੋਵੇ ਪਾਰਟੀਆਂ ਵਿਰੁਧ ਕੁਛ ਖਾਸ ਨਹੀਂ ਕਿਹਾ ਗਿਆ ਪਰ ਸੰਕੇਤ ਦਿਤੇ ਗਏ ਕਿ ਤੀਜਾ ਮੋਰਚੇ ਦਾ ਗਠਨ ਕੀਤਾ ਜਾਵੇਗਾ ਅਤੇ ਸਮਾਜਵਾਦੀ ਪਾਰਟੀ ਮਾਰਕਸੀ ਪਾਰਟੀ ਨੂੰ ਮੋਰਚੇ ਚ ਸਾਮਿਲ ਕਰਨਾ ਚਾਹੁੰਦੀ ਹੈ। 
ਉਨਾਂ ਕਿਹਾ ਕਿ ਅਸੀਂ ਤੀਜੇ ਮੋਰਚੇ ਦਾ ਬੁਟਾ ਲਾ ਦਿਤਾ ਹੈ ਹੁਣ ਕਾਂਗਰਸ ਅਤੇ ਭਾਰਤੀ ਜਨਤਾ ਪਾਰਟੀ ਵਿਰੋਧੀ ਪਾਰਟੀਆਂ ਨੂੰ ਇਕਜੁੱਟ ਹੋ ਕੇ ਨਵਾ ਮੋਰਚਾ ਬਨਾਉਣ ਦੀ ਲੋੜ ਹੈ। 
Îਮੁਲਾਇਮ ਨੇ ਕਿਹਾ ਕਿ ਅਸੀਂ ਉਤਰ ਪ੍ਰਦੇਸ ਚ ਪਹਿਲਾਂ ਹੀ ਸੱਤਾ ਚ ਹਾਂ, ਆਉਣ ਵਾਲੀ ਲੋਕਸਭਾ ਚੋਣਾਂ ਚ ਪੱਛਮੀ ਬੰਗਾਲ ਚ ਵੀ ਅਸੀਂ ਚੰਗੀਆਂ ਸੀਟਾਂ ਪ੍ਰਾਪਤ ਕਰਾਂਗੇ। ਹਾਲਾਤ ਇਹੋ ਜਿਹੇ ਹੋ ਜਾਣਗੇ ਕਿ ਸਮਾਜਵਾਦੀਆਂ ਬਿਨਾਂ ਕੇਂਦਰ ਚ ਕੋਈ ਸਰਕਾਰ ਨਹੀਂ ਬਣ ਸਕੇਗੀ ਅਤੇ ਸਾਡਾ ਦਬਦਬਾ ਕਾਇਮ ਹੋਵੇਗਾ। 
ਕਾਂਗਰਸ ਤੇ ਹੱਲਾ ਬੋਲਦਿਆਂ ਉਨਾਂ ਕਿਹਾ ਕਿ ਦੇਸ ਬੇਰੋਜਗਾਰੀ, ਗਰੀਬੀ ਜਿਹੀਆਂ ਸਮਸਿਆ ਨਾਲ ਜੁਝ ਰਿਹਾ ਹੈ। ਸਾਡੀਆਂ ਸਰਹੱਦਾਂ ਸੁਰਖਿਅਤ ਨਹੀਂ ਹਨ। ਘੋਟਾਲਿਆਂ ਤੇ ਘੁਟਾਲੇ ਹੋ ਰਹੇ ਹਨ। ਕਾਂਗਰਸ ਭਾਵੇਂ ਵੱਡੀ ਪਾਰਟੀ ਹੈ ਪਰ ਉਨਾਂ ਦਾ ਭਰੋਸਾ ਖਤਮ ਹੋ ਗਿਆ ਹੈ। ਲੋਕਾਂ ਲਈ ਕੁਛ ਵੀ ਕਰਨ ਚ ਉਹ ਨਾਕਾਮ ਰਹੀ ਹੈ। ਘੁਟਾਲਿਆਂ ਨਾਲ ਉਸਦੀ ਛਵੀ ਹੋਰ ਖਰਾਬ ਹੋਈ ਹੈ। 
ਸੱਚਰ ਸੰਮਤੀ ਦੀ ਰਿਪੋਰਟ ਦਾ ਜਿਕਰ ਕਰਦਿਆਂ ਉਨਾਂ ਕਿਹਾ ਕਿ ਦੇਸ ਚ ਮੁਸਲਮਾਨਾ ਦੀ ਹਾਲਤ ਅਨੂਸੂਚਿਤ ਜਾਤੀ ਅਤੇ ਜਨਜਾਤੀ ਨਾਲੋਂ ਵੀ ਖਰਾਬ ਹੈ। ਪ੍ਰਧਾਨਮੰਤਰੀ ਮਨਮੋਹਨ ਸਿੰਘ ਨੇ ਸੰਮਤੀ ਬਣਾਈ ਸੀ ਪਰ ਉਹੋ ਸੰਮਤੀ ਦੀਆਂ ਸਿਫਾਰਿਸਾਂ ਨਹੀਂ ਮੰਨ ਰਹੇ। ਕੋਲਾ ਮੰਤਰੀ ਤੇ ਹੱਲਾ ਬੋਲਦਿਆਂ ਉਨਾਂ ਕਿਹਾ ਕਿ ਇਕ ਮੰਤਰੀ ਨੇ ਤਾਂ ਮੰਤਰਾਲੇ ਸੰਭਾਲਦਿਆਂ ਹੀ ਆਪਣੇ ਰਿਸ਼ਤੇਦਾਰਾਂ ਨੂੰ ਕੋਲ ਬਲਾਕ ਵੰਢਣੇ ਸੁਰੂ ਕਰ ਦਿਤੇ। 

ਸਮਾਜਵਾਦੀ ਪਾਰਟੀ ਦੇ ਆਗੂ ਮੁਲਾਇਮ ਸਿੰਘ ਯਾਦਵ ਨੇ ਕੋਲਕਾਤਾ ਵਿਖੇ ਪਾਰਟੀ ਦੀ ਰਾਸਟਰੀ ਕਾਰਜਕਾਰਨੀ ਦੀ ਦੋ ਰੋਜਾ ਮੀਟਿੰਗ ਦੇ ਆਖਰੀ ਦਿਨ ਐਲਾਨ ਕੀਤਾ ਕਿ ਆਉਣ ਵਾਲੇ ਲੋਕ ਸਭਾ ਚੋਣਾਂ ਚ ਉੁਨਾਂ ਦੀ ਪਾਰਟੀ ਇਕੱਲੇ ਚੋਣ ਲੜੇਗੀ ਅਤੇ ਕਿਸੇ ਪਾਰਟੀ ਨਾਲ ਗਠਜੋੜ ਨਹੀਂ ਕਰੇਗੀ। ਉਨਾਂ ਕਿਹਾ ਕਿ 2014 ਦੀਆਂ ਚੋਣਾਂ ਤੋਂ ਬਾਦ ਹੀ ਤੀਜੇ ਮੋਰਚੇ ਬਾਰੇ ਫੈਸਲਾ ਕੀਤਾ ਜਾਵੇਗਾ। ਪ੍ਰਧਾਨਮੰਤਰੀ ਬਨਣ ਬਾਰੇ ਪੁੱਛੇ ਕਿ ਸਵਾਲ ਦੇ ਜਵਾਬ ਚ ਉਨਾਂ ਕਿਹਾ ਕਿ ਜਦੋਂ ਦੇਵਗੋੜਾ ਪ੍ਰਧਾਨਮੰਤਰੀ ਬਣ ਸਕਦੇ ਹਨ ਤਾਂ ਮੈਂ ਕਿਉਂ ਨਹੀਂ? ਕੀ ਮੈਂ ਕੋਈ ਸੰਤ ਹਾਂ ਕੀ ਇਹੋ ਜਿਹੀ ਖਾਹਿਸ ਨਾਂ ਰਖਾਂ? ਮੁੱਖ ਮੰਤਰੀ ਮਮਤਾ ਬੈਨਰਜੀ ਬਾਰੇ ਉਨਾਂਕਿਹਾ ਕਿ ਉਹ ਮੇਰੀ ਛੋਟੀ ਭੈਣ ਜਿਹੀ ਹੈ ਅਤੇ ਕਿਸੇ ਤਰਾਂ ਦਾ ਵਿਵਾਦ ਨਹੀਂ ਹੈ। ਰਾਸਟਰਪਤੀ ਚੋਣਾਂ ਦਾ ਮੁੱਦਾ ਖਤਮ ਹੋ ਗਿਆ ਹੈ, ਉਸਦਾ ਕੋਈ ਮਤਲਬ ਨਹੀਂ ਹੈ। 
Îਮੁਲਾਇਮ ਨੇ ਕਿਹਾ ਕਿ ਕਾਂਗਰਸ ਅਤੇ ਭਾਰਤੀ ਜਨਤਾ ਪਾਰਟੀ ਦੋਵੇ ਵੱਡੀ ਰਾਸ਼ਟਰੀ ਪਾਰਟੀਆਂ ਕਮਜੋਰ ਹੋ ਰਹੀਆਂ ਹਨ ਅਤੇ ਆਪਸ ਚ ਲੜ ਰਹੀਆਂ ਹਨ ।  ਇਹੋ ਜਿਹੀ ਹਾਲਤ ਤੈਅ ਸਮੇ ਤੋਂ ਪਹਿਲਾਂ ਲੋਕਸਭਾ ਚੋਣਾਂ ਹੋ ਸਕਦੀਆਂ ਹਨ। ਦੋਵੇ ਪਾਰਟੀਆਂ  ਲੋਕਾਂ ਦੀਆਂ ਇਛਾਵਾਂ ਨੂੰ ਪੂਰਾ ਕਰਨ ਚ ਨਾਕਾਮ ਰਹੀਆਂ ਹਨ, ਇਸਲਈ  ਸਮਾਜਵਾਦੀ ਪਾਰਟੀ ਨੂੰ ਅਗੇ ਆਉਣ ਪਿਆ ਹੈ। 
ਪ੍ਰਧਾਨਮੰਤਰੀ ਬਨਣ ਬਾਰੇ ਪੁੱਛੇ ਇਕ ਸਵਾਲ ਦੇ ਜਵਾਬ ਚ ਉਨਾਂ ਕਿਹਾ ਕਿ ਮੈਂ ਕੋਈ ਸੰਤ ਨਹੀਂ ਹਾਂ, ਜਦੋਂ ਦੇਵਗੋੜਾ ਪ੍ਰਧਾਨਮੰਤਰੀ ਬਣ ਸਕਦੇ ਹਨ ਤਾਂ ਇਹ ਮੌਕਾ ਸਾਡੀ ਪਾਰਟੀ ਨੂੰ ਵੀ ਮਿਲ ਸਕਦਾ ਹੈ । ਦੋ ਰੋਜਾ ਸੰਮੇਲਨ ਤੋਂ ਬਾਦ ਪਤਰਕਾਰਾਂ ਨਾਲ ਗਲਬਾਤ ਕਰਦਿਆਂ ਉਨਾਂ ਕਿਹਾ ਕਿ ਇਹ ਮੌਕੇ ਤੇ ਹੈ ਜਿਵੇ ਦੇਵਗੋੜਾ ਨੂੰ ਮੋਕਾ ਮਿਲਿਆ ਸੀ ਸਮਾਜਵਾਦੀ ਪਾਰਟੀ ਸਾਮਨੇ ਵੀ ਇਹ ਮੌਕਾ ਆ ਸਕਦਾ ਹੈ। ਰਾਜਨੀਤੀ ਚ ਕੁਛ ਵੀ ਪਹਿਲਾਂ ਨਹੀਂ ਕਿਹਾ ਜਾ ਸਕਦਾ। ਉਹ ਪੁੱਛੇ ਜਾਣ ਤੇ ਕੀ ਤੁਸੀਂ ਪ੍ਰਧਾਨਮੰਤਰੀ ਬਣਨਾ ਚਾਹੁੰਦੇ ਹੋਂ, ਉਨਾਂ ਕਿਹਾ ਕਿ ਮੇਰੀ ਪਾਰਟੀਇਸਲਈ ਪ੍ਰਚਾਰ ਨਹੀਂ ਕਰੇਗੀ, ਐਪਰ ਮੈਂ ਕੋਈ ਸੰਤ ਨਹੀਂ ਹਾਂ। 
ਇਹ ਪੁੱਛੇ ਜਾਣ ਤੇ ਕੀ ਮੀਡੀਆ ਤਾਂ ਮੁਲਾਇਮ ਸਿੰਘ ਯਾਦਵ ਨੂੰ ਪ੍ਰਧਾਨੰਮੰਤਰੀ ਵਜੋਂ ਪੇਸ਼ ਕਰ ਰਿਹਾ ਹੈ, ਉਨਾਂ ਕਿਹਾ ਕਿ ਇਸਲਈ ਮੈਂ ਧਨੰਵਾਦ ਕਰਨਾ ਚਾਹੁੰਦਾ ਹਾਂ, ਪਰ ਮੈਂ ਪ੍ਰਧਾਨਮੰਤਰੀ ਦੇ ਉਹਦੇ ਦਾ ਉਮੀਦਵਾਰ ਨਹੀਂ ਹਾਂ। 
ਮਹਿੰਗਾਈ ਲਈ ਕੇਂਦਰ ਦੀ ਯੁਪੀਏ ਸਰਕਾਰ ਨੂੰ ਜਿੰਮੇਵਾਰ ਦਸਦਿਆਂ ਉਨਾਂ ਕਿਹਾ ਕਿ ਸਾਡੀ ਪਾਰਟੀ ਪਟਰੋਲ ਅਤੇ ਦੁਜੀਆਂ ਵਸਤਾਂ ਦੀਆਂ ਕੀਮਤਾਂ ਚ ਹੋ ਰਹੇ ਵਾਧੇ ਵਿਰੁਧ ਪ੍ਰਦਰਸ਼ਨ ਕਰੇਗੀ। 
ਇਹ ਵਾਰ-ਵਾਰ  ਪੁੱਛੇ ਜਾਣ ਤੇ ਕੀ ਤੁਹਾਡੇ ਤੀਜੇ ਮੋਰਚੇ ਚ ਖੱਬਾ ਮੋਰਚਾ ਸਾਮਿਲ ਹੋਵੇਗਾ ਜਾਂ ਤ੍ਰਿਣਮੂਲ ਕਾਂਗਰਸ ਉਨਾਂ ਕਿਹਾ ਕਿ ਅਸੀਂ ਕਿਸੇ ਪਾਰਟੀ ਨਾਲ ਗਲਬਾਤ ਨਹੀਂ ਕਰ ਰਹੇ ਹਾਂ ਅਤੇ ਲੋਕਸਭਾ ਚੋਣਾਂ ਤੋਂ ਪਹਿਲਾਂ ਕਿਸੇ ਨਾਲ ਗਲਬਾਤ ਨਹੀਂ ਕਰਾਂਗੇ। 
ਇਥੇ ਇਹ ਜਿਕਰਯੋਗ ਹੈ ਕਿ ਉਤਰਪ੍ਰਦੇਸ਼ ਦੇ ਮੁੱਖ ਮੰਤਰੀ ਅਖਿਲੇਸ਼ ਯਾਦਵ ਕਲ ਰਾਈਟਰਸ ਬਿਲਡਿੰਗ ਵਿਖੇ ਮੁੱਖ ਮੰਤਰੀ ਮਮਤਾ ਬੈਨਰਜੀ ਨਾਲ ਮੁਲਾਕਾਤ ਕਰਨ ਲਈ ਗਏ ਸਨ। ਤਕਰੀਬਨ 45 ਮਿਨਟ ਦੀ ਮੁਲਾਕਾਤ ਤੋਂ ਬਾਦ ਦੋਵਾਂ ਨੇ ਪਤਰਕਾਰਾਂ ਨੂੰ ਦਸਿਆ ਕਿ ਆਪੋ-ਆਪਣੇ ਰਾਜ ਚ ਵਿਕਾਸ ਕਾਰਜਾਂ ਬਾਰੇ ਚਰਚਾ ਕੀਤੀ ਗਈ।
